Privacy at a glance
Chapters can be read without registering. MikuManhwa primarily handles technical information needed to operate and protect the site, along with optional reading history stored in your browser and staff-only cookies used for administration.
Information the site may receive
Technical access logs. A page or image request may produce a record containing an IP address, browser information, requested URL, referrer when your browser supplies one, and a timestamp. This information is used for reliability, security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic analysis.
Local reading history. When you open a chapter, MikuManhwa may save a small reading-history record in browser storage on your device so the history view can help you continue later. This information remains on that device until you remove the stored history or clear the site's data.
Administrative session data. Cookies associated with /admin are used for authorized catalog administration. A normal reader who never visits the administrative area does not need these cookies.
Local preferences. Reader or display preferences may be saved in browser storage until you clear site data.
Information the site does not require for reading
- An email address, username, or payment details just to open a chapter.
- A cross-site advertising profile built from your reading history.
- Third-party marketing cookies inside the chapter reader.
- A permanent personal browsing file for casual visits.
Hosting and external services
MikuManhwa relies on hosting, CDN, storage, analytics, and other infrastructure providers that may process technical requests under their own privacy terms. If the site uses Google Fonts, your browser may contact Google when those fonts are requested. You can control such connections through your browser or network settings.
Log retention
Access logs are rotated according to operational and security needs and are not intended to be kept as a permanent record of routine browsing.

Policy updates
If MikuManhwa adds a feature that materially changes what information is collected, this policy will be updated to describe that change and show a new review date.
